HOLZMANN
HOLZMANN D300F Variable-Speed Wood Lathe
D300F
Between-centres capacity is where the D300F parts company with its full-size stablemates: 305 mm, with 105 mm of centre height, on a 19 kg cast iron benchtop lathe. Speed is stepless from 750 to 3200 min-1 off a 250 W S1 motor at 230 V, and the tailstock takes MT1 tooling with 35 mm of quill travel.
The delivered price of the D300F is moved by the turning tool set, the M33 DIN 800 chuck package, MT1 centres and drill chuck, whether a bench or stand is included, order quantity for schools and training centres, and delivery within Georgia.
ფასის მოთხოვნაThe HOLZMANN D300F as an entry point to turning
The HOLZMANN D300F is the smallest variable-speed lathe in this HOLZMANN group, intended for short spindle work, pens, handles, chess pieces and light bowl turning. D300F offers 305 mm between centres and 105 mm centre height, with speed variable from 750 to 3200 rpm and a 250 W S1 motor running on 230 V single-phase.
What 305 mm between centres actually means
Capacity is the deciding factor with the D300F. 305 mm between centres will not take a chair leg or a baluster, so the D300F is a lathe for short components and repetitive small work. If the workshop turns anything approaching half a metre, the D460F with 460 mm between centres and 130 mm centre height is the correct machine to quote, and the D460F also carries a 600 W S6 motor against the 250 W S1 of the D300F.
Spindle, tailstock and tooling compatibility
The D300F headstock spindle is M33 DIN 800, the same thread as the larger D460 and D460F, so M33 chucks and face plates transfer between them. The tailstock is where the D300F differs: it uses an MT1 taper with 35 mm quill travel and a quick lock, against MT2 and 55 mm travel on the D460F. A workshop that already stocks MT2 centres and drill chucks must budget MT1 tooling separately for the D300F. A 145 mm diameter face plate, an extended tool rest with quick lock and quick tailstock adjustment are part of the specification.
Weight, mounting and drive
At 19 kg net the D300F is genuinely portable, and it has to be bolted or clamped to a solid bench to turn well, because a light table transmits vibration straight into the workpiece. The D300F uses a POLY-V belt drive for quiet running and sits on rubber feet, while the grey cast iron bed, headstock, tailstock and tool rest give the small frame more rigidity than 19 kg suggests.

უპირატესობები
- Variable speed from 750 to 3200 rpm on a lathe light enough to move by hand at 19 kg
- M33 DIN 800 spindle is shared with the D460 and D460F, so chucks and face plates carry over
- Grey cast iron bed, headstock, tailstock and tool rest in a genuinely small footprint
გასათვალისწინებელი
- 305 mm between centres is short - chair legs, balusters and long spindles will not fit
- MT1 tailstock means MT1 centres and drill chucks, not the MT2 tooling used on the D460 and D460F
- 250 W S1 is a light rating; heavy roughing cuts will stall the D300F rather than power through
