The large-format HOLZMANN CO2 laser

The HOLZMANN CL6090 is a CO2 laser cutter and engraver with a 600 x 900 mm working area and a laser rated up to 80 watts, aimed at workshops whose parts do not fit a small-format machine. Furniture fronts, decorative door panels, signage boards, leather goods and acrylic display parts all fall inside the CL6090 bed. HOLZMANN specifies the CL6090 for non-metallic materials: wood, leather, acrylic, glass and plastic. The smallest character the CL6090 reproduces is 2 x 2 mm, or 1 x 1 mm for letters, which is fine enough for maker’s plates and serial marking on furniture parts.

Working height, cooling and extraction

Z-direction travel on the CL6090 is 200 mm, so the machine engraves boxes, drawer fronts and assembled components as well as flat panels. A large water cooler ships with the CL6090 and carries 1400 W of cooling capacity, a 48 W pump, a 650 W compressor and a 6 litre tank, which is the part that lets the laser run long jobs without thermal drift. Extraction connects to a Ø150 mm port; a separate extraction or fume unit is required and is not part of the machine.

Software
