The cutting head is not scaled down with the stroke: a 4 kW motor drives Ø250 x 30 mm to Ø300 x 30 mm blades at 4750 to 5250 rpm for 80 mm of depth at 90 degrees and 65 mm at 45 degrees, and a dedicated 0.75 kW scoring motor runs a Ø125 x 20 mm blade at 7250 rpm to keep melamine faces clean. The 1950 mm sliding fence with a 0 to 3000 mm stop range and ±45 degree setting is the same unit fitted to the longer machines.

The MZK 1500 PRESTIJ suits a joinery or door shop that cuts components, rails, stiles and cabinet parts to length all day but receives board already broken down, or that simply has no room for a long carriage.
