The MZK 3800 Diamond S is the model in Mizrak’s long-carriage Diamond range where blade angle and blade height stop being handwheel jobs. Automatic 45-90 degree tilt and automatic vertical movement are both motor-driven, so the operator selects the angle and the saw takes itself there. A 4 kW main motor turns Ø250 x 30 mm to Ø300 x 30 mm blades at 4750-5250 rpm, and a 0.75 kW scoring motor runs a Ø125 x 20 mm scorer at 6800-7250 rpm for clean undersides on melamine and veneered panel.
Overhead-spindle carriage and a heavier frame
The 435 mm wide aluminium carriage of the MZK 3800 Diamond S uses an overhead-spindle system rather than the 9-spindle arrangement of the base Diamond models, and the whole machine is built on a machined frame that brings it to 860 kg – about 90 kg heavier than the manual MZK 3800 Diamond. That mass is what keeps a long carriage running straight when a 40 kg sheet is loaded on one end of it.

The MZK 3800 Diamond S suits door manufacturers and furniture workshops that regularly cut oversize leaves and long panels and want repeatable mitre and bevel work without buying PLC positioning. If most of the day is spent at 90 degrees and the fence is rarely moved, the manual MZK 3800 Diamond does the same cutting; the S earns its price where angles change often.
MZK 3800 Diamond S against the SX and the Concord
The MZK 3800 Diamond S sits directly below the MZK 3800 Diamond SX, which adds a PLC control unit and a servo-driven linear cast-iron rear stop on top of the same 4 kW mechanical package. Above both, the MZK 3800 Concord moves to a 5.5 kW motor, 400 mm blade compatibility, a lubrication system, pneumatic panel hold-down and dust cleaning, a digital cast-iron fence and an additional profile carriage, at 900 kg.
