Table, fences and the real capacity limit
The TS250F1600 is built around a 760 x 350 mm grey cast iron table at 865 mm working height, with table widening of 300 x 760 mm and 280 x 400 mm on the right hand side and at the rear. Rip capacity at the parallel fence is 590 mm, and that is the honest constraint on this machine: the TS250F1600 will crosscut a 1400 mm panel comfortably but will not rip a full sheet lengthways at the fence. The extractable mitre at the rip fence has a workpiece end stop for repeat lengths, and the outrigger table carries a support roller for panel handling.
No scoring unit, and what that means for faced board
The TS250F1600 specification does not include a scoring unit, unlike the larger TS315VF2000 and TS315VF3200. In practice the TS250F1600 cuts solid timber, plywood and MDF cleanly, but melamine-faced chipboard will need a suitable negative-hook blade and careful technique to keep the underside edge clean. A workshop whose main output is faced carcass panels should be quoted a saw with a scoring unit instead.
Size, weight and installation
At 150 kg net the TS250F1600 is a permanent installation rather than a machine to wheel around, and it should be levelled on a solid floor with clear room for the 1600 mm slider to travel through its full stroke. Extraction connects through a 100 mm port. The TS250F1600 is offered in 230 V and 400 V variants, so a workshop without a three-phase supply is not excluded.
