Circular Saw Blades for Holzmann Saws

Tungsten-carbide-tipped circular saw blades for Holzmann table saws, sliding table saws, mitre saws, track saws and mini circular saws, plus the scoring blade for the FKS 400 and three-blade sets supplied in an aluminium case. This group lists 30 items. Diameters run 89, 165, 210, 250, 254, 300, 305, 315 and 400 mm, with tooth counts from 24 for ripping up to 120 for clean crosscuts in coated panel. KSBA blades are ground with a negative hook for aluminium and other non-ferrous profile, and diamond and HSS blades are stocked in the 89 mm size.

კრიტერიუმი რეკომენდაცია
24-28 teeth Ripping solid and wet timber. Big gullets clear the chip and prevent burning on deep cuts.
36-50 teeth General-purpose rip and crosscut in solid timber and plywood; the sensible single blade for a mixed shop.
72-108 teeth Melamine-faced chipboard, MDF and veneered panel. Clean edge with a slow, steady feed.
KSBA negative hook, 60-120 teeth Aluminium and non-ferrous profile only. Use lubricant and clamp the work; never cut steel.
89 mm blades (TCT, HSS, diamond) Mini circular saw work: TCT for wood and board, HSS for soft metal and plastic, diamond for tile and cement board.
Scoring blade 120 x 2.2 x 20 mm FKS 400 sliding table saw. Removes underside breakout on coated panel when kerf-matched to the main blade.
Blade set in aluminium case (254, 300, 315 mm) New machine or a full restock: a rip, a general-purpose and a fine panel blade covered in one order.
Bore Fixed by the machine arbor and running 20 to 40 mm across this range. Read it from the middle digits of the model code and never bush a blade down.

Read the code before you order

Holzmann circular saw blade codes are literal. KSB is a TCT blade for wood and panel, KSBA is the negative-hook version for aluminium and non-ferrous profile, and the digits give diameter, bore and tooth count in that order: KSB21030Z24 is a 210 mm blade with a 30 mm bore and 24 teeth, KSB31532Z72 is a 315 mm blade with 72 teeth. Diameter and bore are dictated by your machine. Tooth count is the only genuinely free choice.

Choosing tooth count

Ripping solid timber

24 to 28 teeth. Large gullets clear the chip on a deep cut, which keeps the plate cool and stops burn marks on oak and beech. A fine blade used for ripping will burn and stall.

General crosscut and mixed work

36 to 50 teeth. The right compromise for a shop that rips softwood in the morning and crosscuts plywood in the afternoon.

Melamine, MDF and veneered panel

72 to 108 teeth. More teeth in the cut means smaller chips and a cleaner top edge; feed slowly and let the blade work.

Aluminium and plastic profile

KSBA blades, 60 to 120 teeth, negative hook. Use a cutting wax or lubricant, clamp the workpiece, and never put a wood blade into aluminium or a KSBA blade into steel.

Diameter, bore and the guard

Never fit a blade larger than the machine’s rated maximum diameter: the guard, riving knife and arbor speed are all designed around it. Going smaller loses cut height and can leave the riving knife badly positioned relative to the blade. Check that the riving knife thickness sits between the plate thickness and the kerf of the blade you order, and never bush a blade to fit a bore it was not made for.

Scoring blades

The 120 x 2.2 x 20 mm scoring blade for the FKS 400 runs ahead of the main blade and pre-cuts the underside of coated panel so the main blade cannot chip it out. It only works when the scoring kerf is matched to the main blade kerf and set 1.5 to 2 mm deep.

Sharpening or replacing

A quality TCT circular saw blade takes several resharpens before the carbide is too thin to grind. The signals are increased feed force, burn marks, a fuzzy cut edge and rising noise. Replace rather than regrind if a tip is missing, the plate is warped, or the body shows heat cracks around the gullets.

What moves the price

Price is driven by diameter, tooth count, plate quality and grind (standard TCT against a negative-hook aluminium blade or a diamond or HSS mini blade), whether you take a single blade or the three-blade set in an aluminium case, and whether resharpening is included in the deal.

ხშირად დასმული კითხვები

How do I identify the right circular saw blade for a saw I already own?

Three numbers decide it: the maximum blade diameter from the machine plate or manual, the arbor (bore) diameter, and the riving knife thickness. Order a circular saw blade at the machine's rated diameter, with exactly that bore, and a kerf wider than the riving knife. If you send us the machine model we will match the blade from the Holzmann range and confirm it on the quotation.

How many teeth do I need for melamine-faced board?

For melamine, laminated chipboard and MDF use a high tooth count circular saw blade, 72 to 108 teeth at 300 to 400 mm diameter. More teeth in the cut means a smaller chip and a cleaner edge. On a sliding table saw, pairing that blade with the scoring unit is what eliminates breakout on the underside.

Can I use a normal wood blade to cut aluminium profile?

No. Cutting aluminium needs the KSBA circular saw blades, which have a negative hook angle and a tooth geometry that will not grab the profile and pull it into the machine. A positive-hook wood blade in aluminium climbs the work and is one of the more dangerous mistakes on a mitre saw. KSBA blades are for non-ferrous only, never steel.

How long does a TCT circular saw blade last before it needs sharpening?

It depends entirely on material: abrasive MDF and chipboard dull a circular saw blade far faster than softwood. Judge it by symptoms rather than hours, namely rising feed force, burn marks, a fuzzy edge and more noise. A quality TCT blade will take several resharpens; replace it once a tip is missing, the plate is warped, or heat cracks appear at the gullets.

What is a scoring blade and do I need one?

A scoring blade is a small circular saw blade that turns ahead of the main blade and cuts a shallow groove in the underside of the panel so the main blade cannot chip it. You need one if you cut two-sided melamine or veneered panel; for solid timber and plywood it makes little difference. The 120 x 2.2 x 20 mm blade listed here is for the FKS 400.

How do I order circular saw blades and what is the lead time?

Send us the model codes from this page, or your machine model and the material you cut, and we return a written quotation with the price per blade, any set discount, current stock and a confirmed lead time. Stocked circular saw blades are released quickly; anything to be brought in from the Holzmann warehouse has its delivery date stated on the quotation.
