The HOLZMANN STM26S solves the problem that makes small mortisers frustrating: workpiece support. The STM26S carries a 540 x 230 mm table, 35 percent longer and 53 percent deeper than the 400 x 150 mm table of the standard STM26, and that extra area is what keeps a door stile or a window jamb sitting flat and square while the chisel works. For shops mortising long components rather than short rails, the STM26S is the version to specify.
