Choose a power feeder by the shape of the work first and by feed speed second. Straight stock through a spindle moulder, a circular saw or a planer wants a multi-roller head that holds the board down and against the fence for the whole pass; curved work wants a single wheel that can follow a template instead of fighting the arc.
