How to choose a door panel sizing machine
Choose by the operations you want finished on one machine. The eight MIZRAK machines here split three ways: sizing and edge milling, sizing plus lock and handle machining, and CNC hardware routing.
Sizing and edge milling only
Sizing-only machines suit shops that prepare hardware elsewhere. The MZK Manuel Kapi Ebatlama sizes by hand with a 45 to 90 degree tilting head, linear guideways and a digital display, cutting the lamp groove at once. The MZK NC RIPPER adds numerical control and the widest single-leaf envelope here, 1250 mm wide by 2700 mm long and 30 to 60 mm thick, and cuts rebated doors. The MZK NC Ripper KS works narrow components, 10 to 270 mm wide and 2500 mm long, on nine blades with a sanding unit and 5 mm architrave recessing.
Sizing plus lock and handle machining
Combining sizing and lock work removes the handling step where dimensional drift appears. The MZK NC RIPPER KK adds lock, handle and lighting-recess machining on a single bridge, sizing to 2200 x 1000 mm at 29.66 kW. The MZK NC Ripper Double PLC Control splits the work over two bridges and completes a full door plus the lock handle pocket in 1 minute 15 seconds at 30.41 kW.
CNC hardware routing
CNC earns its place where the hardware layout changes between door types. The MZK CNC Ripper Double adds three-axis servo routing of hinge, lock handle and faceplate seats after cutting leaves to 2200 x 1000 x 60 mm, at 38 kW. The Ripper CNC KKM is the machining unit without a sizing group: programmed X, Y and Z positions on 750 W servos, 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW spindles, 2000 mm blade machining capacity.
Power supply and installed load
Door sizing machines are three-phase installations. Published total power runs 25.75 kW on the KS, 29.66 kW on the KK, 30.41 kW on the NC RIPPER and NC Ripper Double PLC Control, and 38 kW at 80 A on the CNC Ripper Double, all at 380-400 V AC 50-60 Hz with air at 6 to 8 bar. Have an electrician confirm the board and cable run first.
Floor space and extraction
Every machine here claims a permanent bay. Bodies measure 3600 mm on the NC RIPPER, 4000 mm on the KS, 4500 mm on the KK, 5200 mm on the NC Ripper Double PLC Control and 5700 mm on the CNC Ripper Double, at 1450 to 2450 kg, with clear length at both ends for loading leaves. Extraction must be ducted before commissioning: the CNC Ripper Double takes two connections, 150 mm for the CNC group and 200 mm for the sizing group.
Tooling and what is quoted separately
Blade and cutter sets belong in the specification. The NC Ripper Double PLC Control uses fixed tooling sizes: 300 x 30 x 3.2 mm and 250 x 30 x 3.2 mm blades, a 125 x 20 x 3.2 mm milling cutter and dedicated lock, faceplate and handle cutters. Budget replacement tooling, extraction, a compressor if needed, and operator training.
Entry machines against the top of the range
The gap is automation and control, not cutting quality. The MZK Manuel Kapi Ebatlama is hand-set and simple to service, and Mizrak publishes no motor or footprint data for it; the MZK RIPPER KKM is likewise listed without a data sheet, so both are confirmed in writing. PLC machines hold a repeatable dimension through encoder-controlled axes; CNC models replace stops with programmed positions and cut non-standard hardware openings, but need a programmer rather than a setter.
