The MZK 3800 Diamond S motorises the two settings that matter

The MZK 3800 Diamond S is the model in Mizrak’s long-carriage Diamond range where blade angle and blade height stop being handwheel jobs. Automatic 45-90 degree tilt and automatic vertical movement are both motor-driven, so the operator selects the angle and the saw takes itself there. A 4 kW main motor turns Ø250 x 30 mm to Ø300 x 30 mm blades at 4750-5250 rpm, and a 0.75 kW scoring motor runs a Ø125 x 20 mm scorer at 6800-7250 rpm for clean undersides on melamine and veneered panel.

Overhead-spindle carriage and a heavier frame

The 435 mm wide aluminium carriage of the MZK 3800 Diamond S uses an overhead-spindle system rather than the 9-spindle arrangement of the base Diamond models, and the whole machine is built on a machined frame that brings it to 860 kg — about 90 kg heavier than the manual MZK 3800 Diamond.
