What the ADVANTAGE-7 does

The ADVANTAGE-7 is a compact automatic edge banding machine for panels 8 to 42 mm thick, applying 0.40-3 mm tape at a conveyor speed of 10 m/min. The ADVANTAGE-7 includes pre-milling, gluing with shear and pressing units, front and end cutting, milling, corner rounding, radius scraping, cleaning fluid application, polishing and a grooving unit, all within a 5300 x 630 mm frame that weighs 1500 kg.

Integrated dust extraction

Integrated dust extraction is the feature that sets the ADVANTAGE-7 apart from the larger TUANA machines. A 0.55 kW extraction motor running at 2840 rpm is built into the ADVANTAGE-7, which means a small workshop can commission the machine without first installing a central chip extraction system. Larger Mizrak edge banders expect an external extraction connection instead.

Corner rounding on a small machine

The ADVANTAGE-7 rounds corners to a maximum distance of 36 mm and carries a 42 mm top pressure unit with a radius scraping unit behind it, so soft-formed and rounded-corner parts can be produced on a machine that occupies 5300 mm of wall. Grooving is handled by a 2.6 kW motor at 12,000 rpm with a Ø80 x 8.5 mm blade, the same grooving power as the much larger OF-KA TUANA 56.
