Door production machinery covers the machines that size a door leaf, cut its lock, handle and hinge seats, profile the frame stock and assemble the finished frame. This category holds 13 machines from MIZRAK and NETMAK (Turkey): door leaf sizing and ripping machines (8), lock and hinge mortising machines (3), a CNC door frame moulder (1) and a CNC door frame assembly machine (1). The range covers manual leaf sizing through to servo CNC lines. Every machine on this page is supplied by quotation, specified against your door sizes and hardware before pricing.

How to choose door production machinery

Choose door production machinery by deciding which of the three jobs in a door plant you are mechanising first: the leaf, the hardware seats, or the frame. Most door workshops in Georgia start with the leaf, because leaf sizing is the operation that consumes the most operator time and where a wrong cut scraps the most expensive component.

Sizing the leaf

Leaf sizing machines are the largest group in this category, with 8 machines listed. The dividing line inside that group is whether the machine only sizes the leaf or also machines the hardware. A manual sizing machine trims the leaf to width and length and cuts nothing else. The NC-controlled RIPPER family sizes and edge-mills, and the KK versions add lock, handle and recess machining on the same pass. The twin-bridge and servo CNC versions exist for plants where cycle time per door, rather than accuracy, is the constraint. Frame, jamb and architrave components are narrow parts and are handled by the KS model rather than by the leaf machines.

Lock, handle and hinge seats

Lock and hinge mortising machines are the answer when leaves arrive already sized – from a supplier or from a machine that does not pocket hardware. The 3 mortising machines here cut lock seats, faceplate recesses and hinge seats, and the specification that separates them is whether the machine cuts locks only or locks, faceplates and hinges together at one clamping. A workshop that already runs a RIPPER KK or a CNC RIPPER usually does not need a separate mortising machine.

Making the frame

Frame production is a separate machine group from the leaf. Frame stock is profiled by through-feed moulding, and the FR-532 covers that operation. Assembling the four profiled pieces into a finished frame is what the NETMAK NKM 240 CNC frame assembly machine does. A door plant that buys leaf machines but subcontracts frames postpones both of these; a plant that wants to control the whole door buys the profiling and the assembly machine together.

Power supply, space and extraction

Door production machinery is three-phase 400 V equipment, and the installed power on this class of machine is substantial – the CNC leaf machines and the frame moulder carry multiple spindle motors plus servo drives. Confirm the incoming supply and breaker rating with an electrician before ordering, and plan compressed air as well, because clamping on these machines is pneumatic. Space is dictated by door length: allow the full leaf length clear at infeed and outfeed plus room for a stack of leaves on each side. All of this machinery produces chip and dust at every cutting head, so extraction ducting must reach each head, not only the main cabinet.

What the quoted price depends on

The price of door production machinery is driven by the control system and the number of working units. PLC-controlled machines sit below servo CNC machines; a single bridge sits below a twin bridge; a machine that only sizes sits below one that also pockets locks, handles and hinges. Add to that the tooling package – cutters, saw blades, lock and hinge templates – which is quoted separately, plus delivery to site, installation and operator training. Send your leaf sizes, frame profiles and the lock and hinge hardware you fit, and we will quote a machine specified against them.

როგორ ავირჩიოთ

You buy leaves in and only trim them
A manual leaf sizing machine with a tilting cutting head is enough; hardware seats stay a separate operation
You want sizing and hardware in one pass
Choose a RIPPER KK or CNC RIPPER version, which adds lock, handle and recess machining to the sizing operation
Cycle time per door is the constraint
Twin-bridge and servo CNC leaf machines cut a full door plus lock pocket in a published cycle time; single-bridge machines cost less but process one operation at a time
Leaves arrive already sized
Skip the leaf machines and take a lock and hinge mortising machine (3 listed), which cuts lock seat, faceplate and hinge seat
Narrow frame, jamb and architrave stock
The KS sizing model handles narrow component widths, where the other RIPPER models are built around door-leaf widths
You want to make frames as well as leaves
Profile the frame stock on the FR-532 through-feed moulder and join the profiled pieces on the NKM 240 CNC assembly machine
Shop supply and services
Plan three-phase 400 V with the breaker sized to installed power, plus compressed air for pneumatic clamping on every machine in this category
Solid timber preparation before the door
Planing, thicknessing and moulding of the raw timber belongs in woodworking machinery; this category starts once the blank or leaf exists

Which door production machine should a door workshop buy first?
A door workshop should normally buy the leaf sizing machine first, because leaf sizing takes the most operator time and a mis-cut leaf is the most expensive scrap in door production. A separate lock and hinge mortising machine is the right first purchase only if leaves already arrive sized. Frame machines - the FR-532 moulder and the NKM 240 CNC assembly machine - are usually added once leaf production is under control.
What is the difference between the NC RIPPER models and the CNC versions?
The NC RIPPER models use PLC touchscreen entry, while the CNC versions use programmed servo positioning on the X, Y and Z axes. The practical difference is repeatability and cycle time rather than the cuts themselves: PLC machines are set by the operator per batch, servo CNC machines run a stored program. Twin-bridge models process a door faster than single-bridge models. All of these are listed under door leaf sizing machines.
Do I need a separate lock and hinge machine if I buy a RIPPER KK?
A separate lock and hinge machine is usually not needed alongside a RIPPER KK or a CNC RIPPER, because those models already machine lock, handle and hinge seats during the sizing pass. A dedicated lock and hinge mortising machine is the right choice for a workshop that buys leaves already sized, or that wants hardware machining to continue while the sizing machine is busy on another batch.
What power supply does door production machinery need?
Door production machinery in this category runs on three-phase 400 V, and installed power is high because the CNC leaf machines and the frame moulder carry several spindle motors plus servo drives. Have an electrician confirm the incoming supply, breaker rating and cable size before ordering, and plan a compressed air supply as well, since clamping on these machines is pneumatic. Tell us your available supply when requesting a quotation.
How much space and extraction does a door line need?
A door line needs clear length equal to the full leaf plus stacking room at infeed and outfeed, not just the machine footprint, and a frame moulder needs through-feed length in front and behind the machine. Extraction ducting must reach every cutting head on each machine rather than a single cabinet port, because door production machinery cuts at several points along the pass.
What determines the price of a door production machine?
The price of a door production machine is determined by the control system and the number of working units: PLC control sits below servo CNC, a single bridge below a twin bridge, and a sizing-only machine below one that also pockets locks, handles and hinges. Tooling, lock and hinge templates, delivery to site, installation and operator training are quoted as separate lines. Send your leaf sizes and hardware and we will quote against them.
