HOLZMANN TSM250 Disc Sander
What the HOLZMANN TSM250 does
The HOLZMANN TSM250 is the choice when the work is disc sanding alone: squaring end grain, cleaning mitres and truing small components against a flat abrasive face. The TSM250 drives a Ø254 mm sanding disc with a 550 W S1 motor at 1450 min-1, a deliberately lower spindle speed than the 2850 min-1 belt-and-disc machines in the same HOLZMANN range.
Disc diameter is the deciding spec
The Ø254 mm disc defines where the TSM250 sits in the HOLZMANN disc sander line, below the larger-disc TS305. A bigger disc gives more usable abrasive surface and a higher rim speed at the outer edge, so the TSM250 is specified where parts are small to medium and bench space is limited, while the TS305 answers larger work.
Table and angle work
Angle sanding on the TSM250 is handled by the sanding table, which measures 290 x 140 mm and adjusts to 45°. That range covers the everyday bevels and mitres of furniture and joinery parts, and the 290 mm table width gives the workpiece reasonable support either side of the point of contact on the TSM250.
Dust extraction and bench footprint
Disc sanding throws fine dust forward and down, which is why the TSM250 has a Ø35 mm suction port for external extraction; a workshop vacuum or a small mobile extractor connects directly, and running the TSM250 without extraction is not advisable in an enclosed shop. The TSM250 weighs 11 kg net and 12 kg gross, light enough to be lifted onto a bench by one person and stored away between jobs.
Power supply and how the TSM250 is bought
The TSM250 runs on 230 V / 50 Hz single phase, so any sound workshop socket in Georgia will power the machine and no three-phase supply is needed. The HOLZMANN TSM250 is supplied against a written quotation, with abrasive discs and extraction specified at the same time as the machine.
