They do opposite jobs on the same ZS560FU machine. The wire brush roller ZS560FU_DSW tears out the soft early wood to raise and texture the grain, which is how brushed and rustic softwood surfaces are made - it is a surfacing tool and it will not flatten or smooth anything. The slotted lamella roller ZS560FU_LSW is the abrasive one: the slotted flaps wrap into mouldings and profiles and sand where a flat belt or disc cannot reach. Shops producing brushed finishes usually hold both rollers; shops only sanding profiled edges need the lamella.

Yes. The FS1500 guide rail is 1500 mm, which crosses a standard panel but is short for ripping one in a single pass, so two rails are joined with the FSVE track connector to give the full length for a sheet rip on a TAS140 or TAS165 plunge saw. The join has to be trued against a known straight edge and the connector screws tightened before the first cut, because a rail joint that is even slightly out of line puts a visible step in the middle of the rip. If you regularly cut full sheets, quote for two rails and the connector together.

Bonnets and abrasive rollers are consumables and go by working hours rather than by calendar. A wool bonnet such as EZS150PROPH or EZS150PROPS is finished when it is loaded with cured polish and begins to smear rather than cut, and washing only buys so many cycles. A slotted lamella roller is finished when the flap edges round over and the roller burnishes and heats the surface instead of sanding it. Wire brush rollers last far longer because the bristles wear slowly. Holding one spare of each consumable is normal practice for a shop in production.

Yes - the ZFS600 accessories are supplied as a template with its matching cutter, which is why the codes read ZFS600_S+F7/16 and ZFS600_S+F9/16. Template and cutter form a geometric pair: the guide bush path and the cutter diameter together determine the pin and tail spacing, so fitting a cutter of a different diameter into the same template gives a joint that will not close. Order the size that matches the dovetail spacing you want, and if you already own one size and need the other, order the complete template and cutter pair rather than the cutter alone.
