HOLZMANN TAS165 Plunge Saw, 1200 W / 165 mm
TAS165
One fixed speed, 5500 min-1, is what separates the HOLZMANN TAS165 from the variable-speed TAS165PRO. The 1200 W TAS165 plunges 54 mm deep at 90 degrees and 42 mm at 45 degrees with a 165 mm blade on a 20 mm bore, weighs 6.5 kg, and carries fine track adjustment, a depth scale and a dust extraction connection.
What moves the TAS165 price is the quantity ordered, whether a guide rail and rail accessories are added, the number and type of 165 mm / 20 mm bore blades specified for the materials being cut, and the vacuum chosen for the extraction connection.
ფასის მოთხოვნაWhat the HOLZMANN TAS165 does
The HOLZMANN TAS165 is a plunge saw: the blade drops into the workpiece at any point along the cut rather than entering from the edge. That is what allows the TAS165 to cut expansion joints in a laid parquet floor, open a sink cut-out in a fitted countertop or trim a panel in place. The TAS165 cuts 54 mm deep at 90 degrees and 42 mm at 45 degrees on a 165 mm blade with a 20 mm bore, driven by a 1200 W motor at a fixed 5500 min-1. A depth scale sets the plunge precisely, and fine track adjustment removes the play between saw and guide rail so the cut lands on the line.
Who the TAS165 suits
The HOLZMANN TAS165 suits furniture workshops and fitting crews that cut sheet goods, worktops and solid wood on site or on the flat, rather than feeding everything through a panel saw. Cutting on a rail with the TAS165 gives a clean, splinter-controlled edge on melamine and laminate, which is the practical alternative for a workshop that has not yet invested in a sliding-table panel saw. The 6.5 kg net weight of the TAS165 keeps the machine planted on the rail.
How the TAS165 differs from the TAS165PRO and TAS89M
The TAS165 is the standard model in the HOLZMANN plunge-saw range and shares its 54 mm and 42 mm cutting heights with the TAS165PRO. Choose the TAS165 when a fixed-speed 1200 W saw is enough. Choose the TAS165PRO instead when the work needs 1400 W, variable speed from 2000 to 5000 min-1, automatic anti-kickback, track lock and soft start, plus a supplied 48-tooth blade and an aluminium carry case. The smaller TAS89M is a different class again: 600 W, an 89 mm blade and 28.5 mm of depth for tiles, laminate and light trimming.
Working with the TAS165
The TAS165 has a dust extraction connection so a shop vacuum can be attached for cutting indoors, which matters when the TAS165 is used on installed floors and finished furniture. A guide rail is the accessory that turns the TAS165 from a good saw into an accurate one, and the fine track adjustment on the machine exists specifically for rail work.

უპირატესობები
- Plunge action starts a cut anywhere in a board, including expansion joints in laid parquet
- Fine track adjustment plus depth scale give accurate, repeatable rail cuts
- 54 mm cutting height at 90 degrees covers worktops and most solid-wood panel work
გასათვალისწინებელი
- Fixed 5500 min-1 speed with no variable-speed control for different materials
- No automatic anti-kickback or soft start - the TAS165PRO is the model with those
- Guide rail is not part of the machine specification and must be sourced separately
