What the HOLZMANN DHM330 does

The DHM330 brings boards and beams to a uniform thickness and does nothing else – which is exactly why it is a useful second machine. The DHM330 accepts stock up to 330 mm wide and 152 mm thick on a 330 x 235 mm sheet-steel table with entry and exit extensions, and a 1500 W motor drives a 50 x 330 mm shaft with two knives at 8500 min-1. The powered feed runs at 6 m/min and the minimum workpiece is 152 mm long and 5 mm thick.

A machine that travels to the job

At 31 kg net and 630 x 580 x 485 mm overall, the DHM330 is light enough for two people to lift into a van. Fixation holes in the base allow the DHM330 to be bolted down to a workbench or a temporary work table, which is what makes it practical on a building site or in a client’s house for fitting door linings and skirting. A stationary planer-thicknesser like the HOB260MINI cannot follow the work in that way.

Cutting depth depends on width

Does the DHM330 need three-phase power?
No. The DHM330 is supplied only as DHM330_230V (EAN 9120132141073) with a 1500 W motor on a single-phase 230 V / 50 Hz supply, so the DHM330 plugs into an ordinary socket. There is no 400 V version of the DHM330; buyers who need a three-phase machine should look at the combined planer-thicknessers such as the HOB305ABS, which is offered in both 230 V and 400 V.
