NETMAK ST-1 Single-Wheel Automatic Power Feeder
One feed wheel instead of four is the whole point of the NETMAK ST-1: a single 110 x 50 mm wheel lets curved and shaped parts follow a template on a spindle moulder without a wheel train fighting the arc. The ST-1 keeps the 1-1.15 HP motor and 4-6 to 20-30 m/min feed ranges of the ST-4, at 60 kg rather than 80 kg.

Price on the ST-1 is driven by the mounting column and base plate specification for the host spindle moulder, the supply voltage the motor is built for, whether a template or ring fence package is quoted with the feeder, and whether the ST-1 is ordered on its own or with the moulder.

What the ST-1 power feeder does
The ST-1 exists to solve one problem that multi-wheel feeders cannot: driving a curved workpiece safely past a cutter. Netmak specifies the ST-1 for feeding curved and bent components on a spindle moulder, and the single 110 x 50 mm wheel is the reason it works. Contact at one point only means the workpiece is free to pivot and follow a curved template or ring fence, while the driven wheel still supplies steady forward pressure and keeps the operator’s hands clear of the tooling.
Motor and feed speeds on the ST-1
Feed speed selection matters more on curved work than on straight runs, because a wheel that overdrives the part can push it away from the template. The ST-1 carries a 1-1.15 HP motor with a speed range of 1500-3000 rpm and four published feed ranges: 4-6, 8-12, 10-15 and 20-30 m/min. The slow end of that spread is where most curved and shaped moulding is done, particularly in hardwood, while the faster ranges cover light passes and softwood. The full 4-30 m/min spread means the ST-1 is not limited to curved work alone if a straight job needs a second feeder in the shop.
ST-1 compared with the four-wheel ST-4
Workpiece shape, not motor power, decides between the two feeders. The ST-1 and the ST-4 share the same 1-1.15 HP motor, the same 1500-3000 rpm speed range and the same four feed ranges, so neither is the more powerful machine. What separates them is wheel count: the ST-1 has one wheel and follows curves, while the ST-4 has four in-line wheels that hold a straight path and give better support on long straight stock. The ST-1 is also the smaller unit at 60 kg and 460 x 1100 x 700 mm, against 80 kg and 600 x 1100 x 700 mm for the ST-4. A workshop doing both kinds of work can leave an ST-4 on straight production and add an ST-1 for curved jobs rather than repeatedly refitting one feeder.
What Netmak publishes and what to confirm
Published data for the ST-1 covers wheel count and size, motor rating and speed, feed ranges, net weight and overall dimensions. It does not cover supply voltage or phase, or the mounting column and bracket arrangement. Confirm both points with Danadgarebi against the specific spindle moulder the ST-1 will be fitted to.

უპირატესობები
- Single-wheel design is genuinely purpose-built for curved and shaped moulding work that four-wheel feeders cannot handle
- Same 1-1.15 HP motor and same four feed ranges of 4-6 up to 20-30 m/min as the larger ST-4, so no power is sacrificed for the smaller format
- At 60 kg and 460 x 1100 x 700 mm the ST-1 is the lighter and narrower feeder, easier to fit around a crowded moulder
გასათვალისწინებელი
- Netmak does not publish supply voltage or phase for the ST-1, so the electrical specification must be confirmed separately before installation
- One wheel gives noticeably less hold-down and fence pressure on long straight stock than a four-wheel feeder, so the ST-1 is a poor substitute for the ST-4 on straight production
- Curved work still needs a template or ring fence, which is not part of the ST-1 and is not covered in the published specification
