NETMAK ST-4 Four-Wheel Automatic Power Feeder
Four driven 110 x 50 mm feed wheels separate the NETMAK ST-4 from the single-wheel ST-1, gripping the full length of a board on spindle moulders, surface planers and tilting-arbour circular saws. The ST-4 runs a 1-1.15 HP motor across four feed ranges from 4-6 to 20-30 m/min and weighs 80 kg.

Price on the ST-4 is driven by the mounting column and base plate specification for the host machine, the supply voltage the motor is built for, the number of spare feed wheel sets taken with the feeder, and whether the ST-4 is quoted on its own or with the moulder or saw it will be fitted to.

What the ST-4 power feeder does
The ST-4 keeps the operator’s hands away from the cutter by driving the workpiece through the machine mechanically. Four 110 x 50 mm feed wheels grip the stock and press it down onto the table and sideways into the fence at a constant rate, which removes the two things that spoil hand-fed work: variable feed speed and inconsistent fence pressure. A 1-1.15 HP motor with a speed range of 1500-3000 rpm drives the wheel train through a gearbox offering four published feed ranges of 4-6, 8-12, 10-15 and 20-30 m/min.
Which machines the ST-4 fits
Netmak specifies the ST-4 for spindle moulders, surface planers and tilting-arbour circular saws, which covers most of the fixed machinery in a furniture or joinery workshop. On a spindle moulder the ST-4 gives repeatable moulding depth across a long run of skirting or door stiles. On a surface planer it takes the physical effort out of long boards. On a tilting-arbour saw it holds the workpiece tight to the fence through the whole cut, which is where hand-fed ripping usually goes wrong.
ST-4 compared with the single-wheel ST-1
Four wheels buy straightness; one wheel buys the ability to follow a curve. The ST-4 places four driven wheels in line, so the workpiece is held on a straight path along its whole travel, which is exactly what long straight runs need and exactly what curved work cannot tolerate. Its stablemate the ST-1 uses a single wheel for curved and shaped parts. Both feeders share the same 1-1.15 HP motor, the same 1500-3000 rpm range and the same four feed ranges, so the choice between them is decided by workpiece shape rather than by power. The ST-4 is the heavier unit at 80 kg against 60 kg, and the wider one at 600 mm against 460 mm.
What Netmak publishes and what to confirm
The published data for the ST-4 covers wheel count, wheel size, motor rating, motor speed, feed ranges, net weight and overall dimensions. It does not state supply voltage or phase, the mounting column and bracket arrangement, or whether a mounting kit for a specific machine table is supplied. Because a feeder is only as good as its mount, confirm with Danadgarebi that the ST-4 column suits the table it will be bolted to.

უპირატესობები
- Four driven 110 x 50 mm wheels give consistent fence and table pressure across the full length of a board, improving finish quality on long straight runs
- Four feed ranges from 4-6 up to 20-30 m/min cover both slow hardwood profiling and fast softwood passes on the same feeder
- One feeder serves several machines in Netmak's stated range: spindle moulders, surface planers and tilting-arbour circular saws
გასათვალისწინებელი
- Netmak does not publish supply voltage or phase for the ST-4, so the electrical specification has to be confirmed separately
- The four-wheel layout forces a straight feed path and is unsuitable for curved or shaped work, which needs the single-wheel ST-1 instead
- At 80 kg the ST-4 loads the host machine's table through its mounting column, and the mounting arrangement is not covered in the published specification
