NETMAK PL 600 Surface Planer (600 mm)
PL 600 Planya Makinasi
Glued panels and wide door stiles up to 600 mm across are what the NETMAK PL 600 takes: the widest of the PL surface planers and, at 880 kg, the heaviest. The PL 600 uses the same 2600 mm tables, 5.5 kW motor, 120 mm four-knife block at 4500 rpm and 15 mm depth of cut as the PL 400.
PL 600 pricing is set by cutterblock choice (standard four-knife or the optional helical block), whether automatic table adjustment and the digital height indicator are specified, and by delivery, offloading and installation of an 880 kg, 2650 mm long machine.
ფასის მოთხოვნაWhat the PL 600 surface planer does
The NETMAK PL 600 is the widest surface planer in the NETMAK PL range and produces the flat reference face and square edge on stock up to 600 mm across. Timber runs over 2600 mm of table, split 1420 mm infeed and 1180 mm outfeed, above a 120 mm cutterblock with four knives at 4500 rpm. A 7.5 HP / 5.5 kW motor carries the full 15 mm depth of cut even across the widest work, and the 880 kg monoblock steel body keeps the machine planted while it does so.
Who the PL 600 suits
The PL 600 earns its place in shops that face edge-glued panels rather than just framing timber. Solid-wood table tops, wide wardrobe doors, bench tops and shopfitting components come out of the clamps with a visible step at each glue line, and only a wide planer removes that step in one operation. A workshop pairing the PL 600 with a 600 mm class thicknesser such as the NETMAK KA 600 has a matched pair: whatever the planer can face, the thicknesser can finish.
PL 600 against the PL 500 and PL 400
The three NETMAK planers are one design in three widths. The PL 600, PL 500 and PL 400 all use a 2600 mm bed with the same 1420 mm / 1180 mm split, a 15 mm maximum cut, a four-knife 120 mm block at 4500 rpm and a 7.5 HP / 5.5 kW motor. What separates the PL 600 is 600 mm of planing width, an overall size of 1000 x 2650 x 1250 mm and 880 kg of mass, against 770 kg for the PL 500 and 710 kg for the PL 400. The extra mass is an advantage on wide cuts; the extra 200 mm of shop width is the price.
What is included with the PL 600
Standard specification on the PL 600 covers the monoblock steel body, an electromechanical brake, two dedicated hand and knife guards, a cast fence tilting through 45 degrees and four knives on the 120 mm cutterblock. Options on the PL 600 are a digital height indicator, automatic table adjustment and a helical cutterblock. Chip extraction equipment, roller stands and spare knife sets are supplied separately and should be budgeted with the machine.
