The HOLZMANN FS160L is a compact 1500 W spindle moulder with a Ø30 mm spindle, an exchangeable spindle carrying a Ø12 mm router collet, four speeds from 1400 to 9000 rpm and a 1000 x 220 mm aluminium sliding table. The FS160L weighs 108 kg net, is offered in 230 V and 400 V versions and is supplied on quotation.
The price of an FS160L is moved by the voltage version, the cutter block and router bit package specified, whether extraction and a power feed are quoted with the machine, delivery into Georgia, and whether operator handover is included.

The FS160L exists for the shop that has no floor to spare. The FS160L is built on a 600 x 400 mm cast iron table at 850 mm height and weighs 108 kg net, yet still carries a full Ø30 mm moulding spindle with 110 mm of stroke and 105 mm maximum clamping height. That combination lets the FS160L cut door and window profiles, rebates, tongues and grooves in a corner of a workshop that could not accept a 280 kg machine.
Two spindles in one machine
The exchangeable spindle is the FS160L’s most useful trick. Alongside the Ø30 mm moulding spindle, the FS160L accepts a spindle carrying a Ø12 mm router collet, so router bits handle small profiles, edge work and template cuts that would be uneconomic to tool up for with a full cutter block. Four speeds on the FS160L — 1400, 4000, 6000 and 9000 rpm — cover both jobs, with the dynamically balanced spindle keeping run-out low across the range.
Guiding, guarding and extraction
Workpiece control on the FS160L is better than the machine’s size suggests. The FS160L runs an extra-long 1000 x 220 mm aluminium sliding table and a 350 x 125 mm mitre fence that tilts 60° left and right with a workpiece stop and holder, which makes angled ends and short-piece work practical. Guarding on the FS160L is CE-approved and includes a safety hood, a height-adjustable material guide rail and cover, a micro-switch and an emergency stop. Extraction is a Ø100 mm port; maximum tool diameter is 150 mm below the table and 170 mm above it, matching the 170 mm table opening.
Where the FS160L stops
Specify the FS160L for profile work in modest sections and the FS200SF where tilt is needed. The FS160L has no tilting spindle and 1500 W (2100 W S6) on tap, so deep single passes in hardwood ask for two lighter cuts rather than one heavy one.
