Where the ABS1500FF trades bag size for airflow, the ABS1080 does the opposite: a 100 litre chip bag of 375 x 1060 mm fed by 1080 m3/h at 1020 Pa. A 1000 W S6 / 750 W S1 motor at 2950 min-1 drives a 230 mm fan wheel, the inlet is a single 100 mm port, and the whole unit is 23 kg on four swivel casters.
The ABS1080 price is driven by the 230 V or 400 V variant chosen, the quantity of spare bags and filter sleeves, the length and diameter of hose plus clamps and blast gates specified, delivery to site, and duty and VAT.

The ABS1080 clears chips and shavings away from a woodworking machine before they pile up under the table. Rated at 1080 m3/h with 1020 Pa of vacuum through a 100 mm port, the ABS1080 is sized for one machine at a time – a planer-thicknesser such as the HOB260MINI, a table saw, a spindle moulder or a bandsaw. A 230 mm fan wheel driven by a 1000 W S6 motor at 2950 min-1 does the work, and the discharge goes into a 100 litre bag measuring 375 mm diameter by 1060 mm long.
Sized for the small workshop
The ABS1080 is the smallest sensible answer to extraction in a joinery that has none. At 23 kg net and standing up to 1800 mm at full height, the ABS1080 is wheeled on four swivel casters to whichever machine is running and connected with a 100 mm hose. Nothing is ducted, nothing is fixed, and the whole unit can be pushed into a corner when the shop closes. For a workshop moving between rented units – a common situation in Tbilisi and Batumi – that portability is worth more than a fixed installation.
Airflow and bag capacity
The 100 litre bag capacity is the reason the ABS1080 does not need constant attention: a large bag means fewer interruptions during a run of planing, and the bag is emptied rather than replaced. HOLZMANN builds the ABS1080 as a stable sheet-metal construction with a large filter surface for continuous duty, and the published noise figures are 95.6 dB(A) sound power and 86.5 dB(A) sound pressure, so it belongs beside the machine rather than beside the operator’s head.
Where the ABS1080 fits in the HOLZMANN extraction range
The ABS1080 is a single-bag mobile collector, not a cyclone. HOLZMANN’s RLE range separates chips in a cyclone before the filter, and the larger ABS models handle several machines through branched ducting. The ABS1080 is the machine to pair with one benchtop or single-phase woodworking machine – for example a HOB260MINI, a DHM330 or a DHM330PROSMW2, all of which are supplied without integrated extraction. Note that the HOB305ABS and HOB305ABSSMW2 already collect their own chips and do not need the ABS1080.
