Full-bore Ø250 mm in and Ø250 mm out is what sets the HOLZMANN FAN4000 apart from the 200/180 mm FAN2200 - a 250 mm main runs into it without a reducer. Behind those ports a 4000 W 400 V motor turns a 350 mm wheel for 6500 m³/h at 2000 Pa, in a 620 x 665 x 795 mm housing weighing 55 kg net.
Price on the FAN4000 is driven by the 4 kW three-phase motor rating, the Ø250 mm ducting, transitions and flexible connectors needed to use the full bore, whether a downstream separator or filter house is quoted with it, and delivery plus lifting the 55 kg unit into position.

The HOLZMANN FAN4000 is a fan unit, not a complete collector: it supplies the air movement for a ducted extraction installation, drawing 6500 m³/h at 2000 Pa static pressure through a 250 mm inlet and discharging through a 250 mm outlet. A 4000 W motor on 400 V drives the 350 mm fan wheel. Because the FAN4000 is the moving part of a system rather than the whole system, the separator, filter, silo or bag it discharges into is specified separately — which is exactly what a workshop building its own duct run and central collection point wants.
Where the FAN4000 fits
The FAN4000 suits a sawmill or larger joinery that has, or is planning, fixed ducting from several machines to one collection point, and needs a fan sized to that run rather than a mobile bag unit standing beside a machine. At 620 x 665 x 795 mm and 55 kg net the FAN4000 is compact and light for its output and can be mounted at the point in the duct where it is needed. Sound power level is 85 dB(A).
How the FAN4000 differs from the HOLZMANN ABS and RLE collectors
Every other unit in this part of the HOLZMANN range is complete. The HOLZMANN ABS8000PRO arrives with bags, distributor and casters; the ABS4500MF arrives with 18 filters and two chip bags; the RLE2200 and RLE3000 arrive as cyclone separators with filter cartridges and collection containers. The FAN4000 arrives as a fan. Its published specification lists no chip bag, no filter and no collection container, so the FAN4000 should only be bought as part of a designed installation, never as a plug-in replacement for a chip collector.
Power supply
The FAN4000 is a 400 V machine with a 4000 W motor and requires a three-phase connection appropriately rated and protected. There is no single-phase version of the FAN4000.
