Thicknessing behaviour
What separates the HOB410PRO from lighter combination machines is how the board is controlled while it is being cut. The HOB410PRO uses two adjustable thicknessing rollers plus a spiral-toothed infeed roller that grips the board and pulls it in cleanly, so board speed stays constant and the planing pattern stays uniform down the length. The feed is engaged and disengaged with a lever, which means the operator can stop the rollers for surface planing without touching the drive. Underneath, the thicknessing table is column-guided with extra guiding and travels through a 5 to 225 mm range on a 700 x 410 mm surface.
Tables, fence and changeover
Changeover on the HOB410PRO was designed so it does not cost the operator anything. The planing tables of the HOB410PRO fold rearwards, which keeps them clear of the workpiece during thicknessing instead of leaving them hanging over the work area. Table surfaces are ground grey cast iron. The professional-grade fence is sideways-guided and tilts from 90° to 45°, and the extraction port is a Ø 120 mm connection sized for the chip volume a 410 mm block produces.

The HOB410PRO is a permanent installation and should be quoted as one. A 400 V three-phase supply is mandatory — there is no single-phase HOB410PRO — and the 495 kg gross shipping weight means a forklift or crane at delivery.
