What the MZK-4 does

The MZK-4 bands panels up to 54 mm thick at 14 m/min while drawing only 4.02 kW. Tape from 0.40 mm to 3 mm is applied by the gluing, guillotine and pressure units under a 54 mm top pressure beam, a Ø100 x 3.2 mm saw trims the tape ends, Ø49 x r3 cutters mill top and bottom at 12,000 rpm, and the scraping unit handles both flat and radius profiles before the 0.25 kW polishing unit finishes the edge. The chain conveyor is driven by a 1.5 kW motor at 30 rpm.
